License Renewal Process: The process to renew in this state is to submit your paper work either via mail or online.
Renewal Interruptions: Licensees who wait until the last minute of their renewal year to complete their education may not receive their new license in time to remain on active status. If it is your year to renew, renewal forms MUST be in the SD REC office by November 30th of that year.
Repeating Courses: Education hours that are used to activate a license may not be used again to renew a license.
