License Approval Process: Starting on July 1, 2020, Nebraska requires an additional 6-hour course for pre-licensing. individuals licensed on or after July 1, 2020 must take a 12-hour course related to knowledge and skills in the real estate practice. If students do not complete this course, their license will be labeled inactive until the coursework has been completed. The CE Shop does not offer either of these courses.
License Renewal Process: The process to renew in this state is to log in to the licensing system online and follow the prompts to renew.
Broker Training: The CE Shop does not offer the 6 hours of Broker approved training.
Repeat course in back-to-back renewals: Please note that the Nebraska Real Estate Commission does not allow for duplication of CE elective courses within four years. However, "R" (required) courses are an exception to this rule and may be duplicated in subsequent Continuing Education periods but NOT in the same Continuing Education period. If an elective (non-"R") course approval number is duplicated in a four-year period, CE credit will not be given for the duplicated course. It is the licensee's responsibility to ensure they are in compliance with this rule. The course content number is used to determine duplication of content between courses i.e. don’t take the same number within 4 years. Please refer to the duplication restrictions on the Nebraska website for further information.
